About Me

Although I love to play at my hobbies of stamping and scrapbooking, I am first of all a wife to a wonderful man and mother to two great daughters.  We live in Kansas, in a small town between Wichita and Salina.

When I discovered scrapbooking, I knew I had found my niche in the crafts world.  (I've also done some home decor, sewing, faux finish painting, and other crafts.)  Because I have always loved to make and send cards, I began using my scrapbooking supplies for card-making.

Then, I discovered rubber stamping.  Boy, oh boy!  I was so excited to find a way to be creative even though I can't draw anything that anyone can recognize.  With stamping it doesn't matter--someone else has done the drawing for me.  I get to create cards and gift items using stamps, inks, chalks and watercolor pencils.  I get to choose the "mood" and color scheme.  I can go between "funky" and "Victorian" at the drop of a hat.

Now you can too.  Let me help you join the fun!

What is The Angel Company???

The Angel Company (TAC) is a Christian rubber stamp company founded in 1997. It is practically in my own backyard--Salina, Kansas. TAC offers both wood-mounted stamps and unmounted ones, but the unmounted ones are by far the most popular.

The unmounted stamps use a really amazing EZ-Mount cushion that "clings" to see-through acrylic blocks. You simply place your stamp on an acrylic block, ink it, place it where you want and stamp. It couldn't be easier! You can arrange scenes or words on the blocks before stamping. The entire EZ-mount system is reuseable.  The stamps never lose their stickiness, because they don't have any adhesive.  The acrylic blocks are extremely inexpensive, and you just re-use the same blocks for all your stamping needs!

Storage is a snap, too, because you simply "peel" the stamp off the acrylic block, and store it in a CD case or other storage container. They don't take up very much room and they cost much less than wood-mounted stamps. Many stamps are less than $1/each. Wow! That means more stamps for less money and they take up less room.
